Bentley OpenUtilities Designer, Bentley OpenUtilities Workflow Manager, and Bentley Expert Designer Communications integrate with the native plotting tool of the GIS or graphics system, so plotting capabilities will depend on the external application. You can access plotting commands from the Design Assistant's File > Print menu. The Plot, Plot Setup, and Plot Preview menu commands are configuration driven, so they are enabled as required by the native plotting tool.

Since plotting does not involve changes to the database, plots can usually be created by all users. No special authorization is required.
